Our client is a sub-contract precision engineering business based in the Portsmouth area; they are currently looking to add to their growing team. This is a permanent position for an experienced Estimator.

The Role… Our client supplies various industries including Aerospace, Defence, and Oil & Gas Estimate and produce customer quotations for precision metal components

This role will be office based, 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Salary is negotiable depending on experience although expected to be circa mid to late twenties (per annum) Free parking, 25 days holiday, a contributory pension scheme, good working environment, and a company that encourages training and quality

Requirements… Ability to accurately estimate time and cost for projects Able to read technical/engineering drawings Background/experience within precision engineering/mechanical engineering manufacturing/production environments You will use your knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and CNC machining to provide customers with detailed estimates and quotes for precision components/projects for a range of industries (ideally automotive or F1) We are interested in speaking to individuals with a sound Engineering/Manufacturing and Machine Shop background, you will demonstrate adaptability and the ability to estimate and produce customer quotations for precision metal components
