Our client is an established Manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis. They are a major supplier within the automotive industry.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

Essential

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

CAD Experience (Catia 5)

Knowledge of DFM / DFA / VE / VA / FMEA / DRBFM

Thorough knowledge of mould tool design Your main duties and responsibilities will include:-

Effectively lead a team at all times.

Responsible for the daily management of allotted design resource. Designing products to ensure fully developed cost effective designs.

Origination of new product proposals for consideration by management.

Constant liaising with on all designs with customer, suppliers, toolmakers and other internal teams to meet agreed targets.

The working hours are 08:45-16:45 Monday - Thursday and 08:45-12:45 Friday. The annual salary is £30k-£36k.
