A Careers fair will is scheduled at Highbury College in a bid to help reduce youth unemployment. REED NCFE is working in partnership with Highbury College to offer a recruitment service at no cost to students or employers.
The plan is to allow employers to recruit free of charge during the careers fair which is happening on Thursday 13 June between 4pm and 7pm.
Nick Hughes the Senior Operations Manager at REED NCFE said: “Employment outcomes are a major challenge for colleges throughout the country. Hopefully, this new relationship will help Highbury College to be responsive to this challenge and proactive in addressing the issue of youth unemployment.”
It aims to create job opportunities for Highbury students completing their qualifications this summer.
