Travelodge are planning to expand their business in Portsmouth by adding a 200 bed hotel in The Hard to its existing hotels in Kingston Crescent and Hilsea.
Subject to planning permission it is looking to work with the owners of Gunwharf Quays to convert Europa House (the former Pall Europe building) into Portsmouth’s biggest hotel.
The project is expected to cost around £10m and create 50 jobs locally.
